Bavaria Filmstudio

The Bavaria Film GmbH is one of the biggest and most successful film studios in Europe. While strolling about the premises the magic of this Bavarian film city will put its spell on you! Kulturzentrum Gasteig

The cultural, educational and conference centre of Gasteig houses the municipal library ('Stadtbibliothek'). A varied cultural programme and various exhibitions are offered.

Pinakothek

Lovers of art will find something up to their tastes in the museums in the district of Schwabing: in Alte Pinakothek (paintings by the Old Masters), Neue Pinakothek (paintings and sculptures of European artists from the late 18th to the early 20th centuries) and Pinakothek der Moderne (art, graphic art, architecture and design of the 20th and 21st centuries).

Schauburg – Theater der Jugend

Schauburg is the theatre for children and young people of the Bavarian Capital of Munich and one of the most renowned theatres of its kind in Germany.

The Salesianum

The "Jugendgästehaus Don Bosco", guesthouse for young people, is a section of Salesianum, offering residence for more than 400 young people during the time of their training and apprenticeship - the biggest residential for young people in Germany. The Salesians of Don Bosco have been running the house since 1919. The religious order of the Salesians is committed to promote Don Bosco´s (1815-1888) principles and teachings all over the world.
