Our leisure opportunities

We are sure that  you won't feel bored! The Jugendgaestehaus Don Bosco offers its guests a lot of opportunities for games or sports in the evening and in their leisure time, such as:

  • Large recreation room with two table footballs, board and card games
  • Television room
  • Large kitchenettes with comfortable seating corners and other meeting points
  • Large sports ground with floodlit football and basketball fields directly in front of the house
  • Ground for games or parties
  • Playground for children

More leisure opportunities

The facilities of the Jugendwohnheim Salesianum, a residence for young people, also offer a great variety of leisure opportunities which can be used by appointment. These are:

  • An indoor swimming pool with a basin of 20x8m and locker rooms for girls and boys
  • A big, well-equipped gymnasium
  • A room with billiard and table football
  • Cocktail bar "Terminal" with internet access and wide-screen TV
  • A bowling hall with two alleys
  • A private chapel

The Salesianum

The "Jugendgästehaus Don Bosco", guesthouse for young people, is a section of Salesianum, offering residence for more than 400 young people during the time of their training and apprenticeship - the biggest residential for young people in Germany. The Salesians of Don Bosco have been running the house since 1919. The religious order of the Salesians is committed to promote Don Bosco´s (1815-1888) principles and teachings all over the world.
